The diversity of the MGTS™ Series is amazing. Here’s a unit installed by Axis Plumbing on a platform with the lids cast in concrete. Showing once again, Halgan providing solutions!
Halgan is proud to be a part of the TAFE run Trade Waste Course. It is for registered plumbers and drainers to enhance their skills and knowledge in trade waste systems, specifically grease interceptors. Participants will be provided with information on best practice in installation, including selection, levels, gully requirements, venting, location of sizing, reflux valves, installation, backfill type and compaction, selecting the lid to suit location, traffic or non-traffic and knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and industry requirements. As part of St John of God Hospital in Berwick’s $120 million redevelopment, Walker Plumbing has installed custom made grease traps to service the new facilities.
On completion it will provide an additional 210 new beds, six operating theatres, a cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory, two endoscopy theatres and six birthing suites.
The hospital will also provide the first Intensive Care Unit for the region, along with a range of cardiac services and a dedicated cardiac unit.
Halgan™ has certified according to AS1546.2008 showing our ongoing commitment to the quality and performance of our products, in fact the MGTS™ are the only grease trap certified to Australian Standards
Without certification the consumer is not protected from product that maybe approved by Water Authorities but has been supplied incorrectly to that area, ie, change of wall thickness, no compliance plates and/or change of design/suppliers. These issues are often not picked up until after installation and the customer has little recourse.
Simply put, certification adds confidence to purchasers, regulators and the community.
